History:
The Parade of Homes is an over 35 year tradition for the Home Builders
Association of Middle Tennessee. The event originally encompassed several
sites throughout the mid-Tennessee area. Today, the event showcases multiple
homes in one easy to walk area with on-site parking. The popular event has
been held for the past several years in Williamson, Sumner and Davidson
Counties drawing thousands of visitors daily. Exhibitors line the walkways
presenting guests with interesting ideas for decorating, remodeling or
building. Visitors have successfully used the Parade guide book as a
long-term reference tool on builders, designers, paint and products.
Giving Back To the Community:
In addition to helping people transform their home into their own personal
castle, the Parade of Homes each year selects a benefiting charity. A
portion of the proceeds of the Parade has been given to support charitable
organizations like Camp Courageous, Tennessee Special Olympics, Make A Wish
Foundation and Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center. The board of directors of
the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee is committed to giving
back to the communities in which they live, work and build.
