The 2008 Home Show Opens Friday, Feb. 15 at the State Fairgrounds

If you’re considering remodeling or redecorating your home, The 2008 Home Show at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds is a great place to get started.

The 2008 Home Show, an annual event and a Middle Tennessee tradition for over thirty years, will open its doors Friday, February 15 and will conclude through Sunday, February 17. Show hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.on Sunday.

Everyone will enjoy attending the show and taking part in the wide variety of activities that will be available each day, including exhibits, demonstrations and seminars.

New features and annual highlights at this year’s event include:
-- Green Building Products/Services: This year we will be spotlighting products and services with “Green Building” appeal. Look for these green-friendly vendors at the show and inside the event directory published in The Tennessean and distributed at the show.
-- Redecorating Ideas: Sometimes just a new curtain or shelf is all you need to dramatically change your living space and lifestyle. The Home Show is the ideal event to find just the right item and gather ideas for your home.
-- New Products and Technology: The latest in home building materials and products are always a big part of the Home Show. See all the latest innovations and newest technologies under one roof.
-- Seminars: There will be numerous seminars led by local experts giving visitors a chance to gather information in a couple of hours. Such a process would normally take several days.

“The Home Show is designed to offer consumers all sorts of product information,” says Jennifer Earnest, Home Show Chairman. “That means you don’t have to live in a house to benefit - those living in houses, apartments, condominiums, or any type of home, will get some good ideas at the Show.”

Admission is $10.00 and free for children 12 years and under. Parking is free. For more information please call (615) 377-1055.
